Everyone has a preseason.
Yours starts here.
A hands-on program for upcoming or recent grads, giving you real work experience, real AI skills, and the confidence to walk into any room and belong there. You'll leave with a real project in your portfolio and a resume that proves you can do the work. Choose the schedule that fits your life.
You graduated. You worked hard. But somewhere along the way, everyone else seemed to be building apps, doing internships, and stacking their resume with things you don't have.
You're not behind. You just haven't had your preseason yet.
What is Preseason?
A real work environment.
For people ready to start.
Preseason is a fully remote program that puts you inside a real working team: shipping a real product, learning how modern companies actually operate, and building the kind of experience that changes how you show up in interviews, in jobs, and in your career. Choose from two schedule formats depending on what your life looks like right now.
- ✓ Real project work across the discipline you want to grow in:engineering, product, marketing, design, sales, etc
- ✓ Fluency in how corporate teams actually work: meetings, feedback, deadlines, collaboration
- ✓ Mentorship from industry practitioners with a decade of experience at companies like Pinterest
- ✓ The confidence that comes from having done the thing
What a week looks like
This isn't a course. It's a job.
We offer two schedules so you can pick what works for your life, with the same curriculum and workshops across both.
Intensive
4 weeks, full-time
✓ ~5 hours/day, Mon–Fri
✓ Core hours: 10am–1pm PST
✓ 3.5hrs independent work/day
✓ Cohort: 4–6 students
Best for: recent grads with full availability, or current students on a break (summer, winter, gap year)
Flex
8 weeks, part-time
✓ ~2–3 hours/day, Mon/Wed/Fri
✓ Evening-friendly scheduling
✓ Same total curriculum as Intensive
✓ Cohort: 4–6 students
Best for: current students balancing classes, or anyone with other daytime commitments
Sample Flex schedule
Mon/Wed/Fri sessions might look like: standup + workshop or mentorship call (1hr), followed by independent project work (1–2hrs). Designed to be totally workable alongside a full class schedule.
Every session includes some combination of:
Sample workshops
Every few days the cohort gathers for a hands-on workshop led by Dani or a guest practitioner. Here's a taste of what's covered:
How to Build an AI Agent
What agents are, how to build one, and how to use them to do your job better.
How to Run a 1:1
What a 1:1 is, why it matters, and how to use it to build relationships and get what you need.
How to Take Feedback
How to receive critical feedback without getting defensive — and use it to grow.
How to Write Like a Pro
Emails, Slack messages, status updates. The difference between how you write to friends and how you write at work.
How to Talk About Yourself
How to tell your story in an interview, explain what you built, and make a lasting impression.
Understanding APIs
Demystifying the technical language you'll hear every day — even if you're not an engineer.
Vibe Coding 101
How to ship a real product using AI tools with no prior coding experience.
Who this is for
You're a recent grad who feels like everyone else got a head start.
You spent college becoming great at something other than landing a corporate job.
You don't have AI projects or internships on your resume and you're not sure how to compete.
You want real experience before your first job, not a certificate.
You're still in school and want to get ahead before you graduate.
The details
Who's running it

Dani Gnibus
Founder
I spent 9 years at Pinterest as an engineer and engineering manager. I've hired people, managed teams, and sat in more meetings than I can count.
I have watched plenty of smart people start their first job and immediately feel lost. Not because they weren't capable, but because the environment was completely foreign to them. Preseason is the orientation nobody gave them.
At Preseason I bring in practitioners from across the industry (engineers, PMs, marketers, and salespeople) to mentor and work alongside each cohort. You're not just learning from one person. You're getting access to a whole network.
For parents
Thinking about Preseason for your son or daughter?
You've watched them work hard through school — maybe they played a sport, studied something they loved, or just didn't get the internship experience everyone else seemed to have. Now they're staring at job applications and feeling lost.
Preseason is a structured, mentor-led program designed to give recent grads the real-world experience and confidence they need to launch their career. Think of it as the orientation college never gave them.
Your child we be placed in a small cohort and given real projects and mentorship. Available as a 4-week intensive or an 8-week flex format.

Is this a paid internship? Will I earn a salary?
No — Preseason is a paid educational program, similar to a bootcamp or intensive course. Students pay $1,750 in founding member tuition to participate. There is no salary or compensation. Think of it like hiring a coach or enrolling in a course, not applying for a job.
Do I need prior coding or technical experience?
No. Preseason is designed for people across disciplines: engineering, product, marketing, sales, design, etc. You'll work on a real project in the area you want to grow in, regardless of your technical background.
What exactly will we be building?
Each cohort works together on a real product — something you'll actually ship, not a toy exercise. The specific project is tailored to the cohort's interests and skills. You'll leave with something real in your portfolio.
Is this only for people interested in engineering?
Not at all. If you're drawn to product management, marketing, sales, design, or engineering, there's a place for you here. Preseason is about learning how modern teams work, and real teams need all of these functions.
How is this different from an online course?
It's not a course. There are no pre-recorded videos or multiple choice quizzes. You'll show up every day, work with a real team, get real feedback, and ship real work. The whole point is that it feels like a job, because that's the only way to actually prepare for one.
What does a typical day look like?
It depends on your format. In the Intensive, you'll have 30 minutes - 1.5 hours of meetings and ~3 hours of independent project work per workday, with core meeting hours between 10am–1pm PST. In the Flex, you'll meet Mon/Wed/Fri for up to 1 hour per day — a standup plus a workshop or mentorship call, followed by independent work that you complete on your own time. Evening-friendly scheduling makes it workable alongside classes.
Who are the mentors?
Preseason is led by Dani Gnibus, alongside practitioners from across the industry: engineers, designers, PMs, marketers, and salespeople who bring real-world perspective to every cohort.
What happens after I join the waitlist?
We'll reach out with more details about the next cohort and set up a short call to make sure we're aligned — get to know you, understand which format works best for your schedule, and confirm it's a good fit. No commitment required to join the waitlist.
Is there an application process?
There's no formal application. Once you're on the waitlist we'll set up a short call to make sure we're aligned before the cohort starts. Cohort size is intentionally limited to 4–6 students, so we want to make sure each person is set up to get the most out of the program.
Which format should I choose — Intensive or Flex?
If you have full availability during the day (recent grad, gap year, summer break, winter break), the Intensive is the most immersive experience. If you're currently in school or have other daytime commitments, the Flex is designed to fit alongside your existing schedule. Both cover the same curriculum at the same price.
What is the refund policy?
If Preseason isn't the right fit within the first week, we'll issue a 50% refund. No questions asked.
I'm not a recent grad — is this still for me?
Preseason is designed for anyone who feels like they're missing real work experience, regardless of when they graduated. If you're making a career switch, re-entering the workforce, or just feel like you never got a proper on-ramp, you're welcome here.
